DRIVERSEAT SET TO OPEN IN DURHAM REGION

Franchise Owner Rick Fisher has secured 3 territories

Kitchener, Ontario – Driverseat is pleased to announce that Rick Fisher has secured the rights to Driverseat and will be opening in York East and in Durham Central, both areas located on the east side of Toronto Ontario. Rick has also purchased secured the rights to open Peterborough and Lindsay Ontario, scheduled for later in 2015.

“The entire Driverseat corporate office team is excited to play a role in bringing the service to many of the 750,000 residents of Durham region.” says Brian, co-founder of Driverseat, “There is a need in that area for our array of services with significant demand for Airport Drop-off, Assisted Transport and Designated Driving.”

Rick has partnered up with Scott Wootten to launch the business and the two of them are in the process of hiring Coachmen (drivers) to provide the services.

“Rick and Scott are a strong team,” remarks Luke. “As a successful business owner in Stouffville, Rick has a history of providing excellent service and running a great business. When that gets complimented with Scott’s history in the hospitality industry, the combination is un-paralleled.”

Customers will be able to book Designated Driving through the mobile App, which displays the mapped route they will be taking, and allows pre-payment on a credit card, ensuring the service is efficient and easy to use. In addition, customers can order any of the other 7 services through the website, by calling the local franchise direct or by emailing for information.

“I am really pleased to be bringing this service to Durham Region, a place I have called home for many years.”, states Rick. “The services that we offer (transporting customer’s vehicles for them when they can’t do it themselves or using better judgment, choose not to), are unique to our region but not to the other 55 communities that Driverseat services.”
Scott Wootten adds, “I have spent the better part of my working life in the hospitality industry. The need has existed for this type of service but it just didn’t exist in its current form.”

Customers will be able to start booking the service on February 20, 2015.

“Scott and I will be meeting with company owners / management in the Region to set up corporate accounts for them. In addition, we have launched our Facebook, Twitter, Google+ and LinkedIn sites so customers can connect with us on their favourite platform. Collectively, we will start to make the streets of Durham Region safer with our services, benefiting the customer, but also other residents who travel our roads.”
