Last weekend, we held our first annual conference for our franchise partners. Perhaps the most incredible element was the fact that when we decided to hold the conference and started working on it, there were 6 locations. That was in November of 2014. By the end of December 2014, there were 12 locations, and by the time the conference arrived in late March 2015, there were 16 locations represented! Not only were the veteran franchise partners elated to be meeting each other and refreshing their goals and plans, but the franchise partners who just recently joined the system had the opportunity to learn from the experiences of others.
The conference was one of pragmatic and tactical learning exercises, but also one of motivational and transformational speeches by both co-founders, Luke and Brian Bazely,
as well as some guest speakers, including the President of MADD Waterloo Region. After having been introduced to our new Governance which includes People, Play, Profit and Purpose, all sessions were linked to one of the four, and also had an overriding theme focused on goal setting. As a result, in the first week following the conference, our website analytics are showing significant increases in traffic, and all Driverseat social media platforms are seeing record breaking support. We couldn’t be more excited for the future of Driverseat, and all who come in contact with the brand. A special thanks goes out to the Kitchener Terminal, as well as all head office staff for pulling together an experience that will go down in the history books.
Lastly, congratulations to our first ever award winners:
Stephen Findlay – Driverseat Sault Ste. Marie – Franchisee of the Year
Chris Lilly – Driverseat Barrie – Paint the Town Orange Award for marketing excellence
Lawrence Deswiage – Driverseat Thunder Bay – Early Achievement Award
Luke Bazely is co-founder of Driverseat, a vehicle chauffeur company.
